
About Us – Stirring Stuff
Stirring Stuff is a vibrant, eclectic cookery school where we inspire people to cook in gorgeous surroundings. We offer an exciting range of hands on, skills based classes from the simple to the exotic and for the beginner to the excited foodie.
Our founder Belinda Hill taught professional cookery for a number of years before setting up Stirring Stuff (in Autumn 2005). Over the years we have expanded our offerings and classes are taught by Belinda herself as well as a number of professional cooks and people who have an in-depth knowledge of particular word cuisines.
The stylish kitchens are purpose built in an attractive C17th converted barn around which is planted a charming herb gardens for al fresco dining when the weather permits.
Henley itself has much to offer, should you wish to make the most of your trip, we have a list of the best B&B’s and hotels in the area as well as ‘things to do’ in and around the area.
Whatever you ability (perceived or otherwise) our aim is to inspire you to prepare health-giving, fresh foods from the abundant array of fabulous ingredients that are available today. You can meet like minded people in a relaxed environment to learn fresh skills or polish established ones. Above all you will gain a sense of satisfaction from what you have produced.
In addition to are exciting range of courses we also offer private courses and parties for adults and children as well as families. This is an ideal way to celebrate that special event (birthday, hen party or simply for family and friends to be united whilst creating a special meal to enjoy together.)
